Musselburgh's Bents

£870.00

Musselburgh’s Bents is inspired by one of my favourite stretches of the East Lothian coast — where the River Esk meets the sea. Created during low tide, this painting captures the quiet openness of the landscape, where pale sands, winding water, and expansive skies come together.

Soft, layered tones contrast with the clouds' strength above, creating a sense of space and gentle movement. The composition invites the eye to travel slowly across the surface, offering calm and clarity rather than drama.

This piece is designed to bring light and openness into a room — a painting that holds both stillness and flow, echoing the rhythms of the coast.
